Oneta Waterfalls Route, a set of three waterfalls

The Oneta Waterfalls, declared a Natural Monument in 2001, form a chain of three spectacular waterfalls in the Corzos River, surrounded by a landscape shaped by ancient glaciations. The hiking route is short, of low difficulty, and perfect for families and children.
The Waterfalls Route
The route starts in the center of Oneta, next to the hostel. The well-marked path runs between meadows, with the river on one side and slate houses on the other, until it descends to the first waterfall. The round trip totals about 2 km and takes 1-1.5 hours.
First waterfall: La Firbia
La Firbia is the most accessible and impressive, with a drop of about 15 meters that has carved out a rocky amphitheater. At its foot stands an old mill, surrounded by ash trees, oaks, and willows that shelter birds and small mammals.
Second and third waterfalls
A few meters further down the river, La Ulloa appears, a fall with less verticality but great charm; and if you feel adventurous, the rugged La Maseirúa lies hidden in a bend where the water crashes powerfully.
